International School Outdoor Playground Design

For preschoolers, spending more time on outdoor activities benefits their physical and mental development, and an outdoor playground at school enables them to be more active, communicate, have a stronger sense of self, appreciate the environment, and love nature.

When designing the outdoor playground of this international school, the Mooton Group was based on the above guidelines to create an outdoor play area in childcare that is more suitable for children’s growth. First of all, the outdoor play area in childcare is suitable for kids aged 6 – 12 years old and covers an area of 256 square meters. Furthermore, the international school outdoor playground adopts log color and green as the main color tones, and the whole design of the daycare outdoor playground applies the design that mimics trees, highly restoring the appearance of a forest. Moreover, the outdoor play area for kids incorporates many animal and botany images that can be seen in the forest, such as eagles, leaves, mosses, etc. All these designs make the entire outdoor playground look like a little forest, giving a feeling that children are playing in nature.

The outdoor playground contains various children’s outdoor play equipment, including different kinds of outdoor expansion equipment, Simus Three Control Swing for Outdoor Playground, stainless steel slides, natural series outdoor playground with plastic slides, climbing nets combination, rock climbing area, music sense system, and so on.
